  1. How do I sign up for Passport Travel Card?

    You may sign up online or call our Customer Service Representatives at 1-800-254-4060 between 5am to 7pm pacific time Monday thru Friday, or 7am to 5pm pacific time on Saturday and Sunday. If ordering the travel card by itself, the only payment option is by credit card.

  2. Are there any extra charges on the Passport card?

    All US calls are just 9.9 cents per minute with a .50 per call surcharge on every call made with your calling card. If your call originates from a pay phone, a .35 surcharge would also apply per call.

  3. Can I order the Passport Travel Card without ordering long distance service?

    Yes. Passport is available with your service or as a "stand alone" product. If you are ordering the Passport card without any other service, it must be paid with a credit card.
    You can sign up online, or call us at 800 254-4060 between 5am to 7pm Monday through Friday pacific time, or 5am to 12noon Saturday and Sunday.

  4. Can I use the Passport card to call from international locations?

    YES! Please check the Passport information page for the "Country International Access Numbers" and check the "Rates" table for call costs.

  6. What is a USF?

    All telecommunications carriers are required to contribute to the Federal Universal Service Fund (also known as USF) which provides communications services to schools, rural health care facilities, and certain other entities. The Federal Universal Service Fee is assessed on interstate and international calls only. A USF of 9.5% will apply to all state-to-state & international calls

  7. Is the USF also charged on calling card calls?

    Yes. All out-of-state and international calls will be charged the 9.25% USF. If your call is completed in-state, there is no USF.
