  1. How long after I sign up for Mobile Gateway can I use it?

    You should be able to use Mobile Gateway for calls within 24 hours of placing your order.

  2. Is there a USF fee on calls made with Mobile Gateway?

    All interstate and international calls are subject to a USF fee of 9.5%. All telecommunications carriers are required to contribute to the Federal Universal Service Fund (also known as USF) which provides communications services to schools, rural health care facilities, and certain other entities. The Federal Universal Service Fee is assessed on interstate and international calls only. A USF of 9.5% will apply to all state-to-state & international calls. It is charged on your monthly statement

  3. How does Mobile Gateway work?

    We use a technology called ANI recognition. After you have registered your number and it is in the system, our call center recognizes your number when you dial into the 800 access and lets you place calls.

  4. How do I use Mobile Gateway?

    1.From your cell phone, dial 1-800-393-1000 and wait for the voice prompt
    2.Listen for the instructions, then dial the international number you are calling:
    Dial Country code + City Code + Number + # (No need to dial 011)
    If you are dialing within the US, dial 1 + area code + number.
    The per minute rate will be detailed on your Isterra bill
    The 1+ call by your cell phone service provider will be charged at the local minute rate.

  5. What if I just want Mobile Gateway without any other services?

    You may order Mobile Gateway as a "stand-alone" product, but you will be required to bill by credit card exclusively.
